I can be your guide and provide many adventures around Colorado. You may also request massage therapy treatment during your stay at a separate cost, which will be at my clinic. Update January 2025: Thank you to all those who have stayed and made me a better host and those who have helped me make this a much more enjoyable experience. There are many things that a host can endure from entitled or gross people. It’s certainly a journey to rent a space. I have been studying realty and property management and have made many changes to give my home a neutral and equal stay for everyone.
Rules and guidelines:
Check-in on the first day is after 7 p.m. and before 10 p.m. Check-out on the last day is 9:30 a.m. Prep to check out before 9 am to be ready. We can also request that the check-in time be changed to one that is feasible for both parties.
Once you arrive, we will greet. If you have luggage, place all the things you need to bring inside on the living area floor and have you wash your hands. Then we will gather them to take all up at once to your room. I’ll then give you a quick tour of the place so you can adjust, shower, rest, and do your thing. You will receive a code to the door after checking in.
Allergies: Due to allergies to pork, do not bring it into this house; it’ll make me sick, so I will ask you to remove it. Dairy must be contained, and only a litter-sized container at a time is allowed, no gallons. Coffee can only be made by a French press. I have one for you to use. If you have an allergy, let me know in advance.
You may have guests, but they must leave by 10 pm and cannot arrive earlier than 10 am. Guests must have the approval to enter the house by the Host, foremost. Guests are not to be left alone and must abide by house rules. Guests must provide I.D. to the host. No unknowns are allowed in my homestead.
Absolutely no sex, drugs, or drunkenness is permitted, or I’ll have you removed in a heartbeat. We have other guests here, and I will not tolerate such disruptions, entitlement attitudes, and whatnot. This house is a private residence, not a hostel. My home, my rules. Do not attempt to battle me because I am firm on them. Childish antics are not welcome here.
Equally contribute by cleaning your mess squeaky clean and sterile. Prevent the spread of germs. Everyone must not contaminate the house with dirty hands, so wash your hands thoroughly after eating, touching things like your face or parts of you, and entering the house. Also, don’t touch anything with dirty and/ or wet hands, like fridge or cabinet handles. They leave marks and grime. So keep those hands clean. Avoid touching your face with your hands using a cloth or bandana to rub your eyes, scratch itches and whatnot. I do, and it works more proficiently to get the job done.
Wash hands before touching spices or kitchenware. My immune will drop and get me sick if you are a spreader. Don’t be one. TY
We do not share pillows, just like we don’t share toothbrushes. So have your own, and they must be NEW. I have freshly washed pillowcases. I can provide those for you. *Do not use my decor pillows for sleeping. As a therapist, I coach clients to sleep properly without a pillow.|| Coordinate with me on any planning.
Quiet time is between 10 pm – 8 am. Peace is good for the soul.|| The house is furnished and has all the necessities to use.
Showers and laundry must be done from 8 am-10 pm|| No kids or animals
No food or drinks are allowed in the rooms—only water is allowed. Use the dining area. Foods in rooms bring bugs, grime, mould, and stains to the sheets and furniture, and a more burdensome mess to clean.
Shoes off at the door. Shoes are not to be on during quiet hours or going up or down stairs. Wear house slippers or socks with “soft padding.” Nothing that slaps the flop when walking. Ensure there are no mud, sand, or rocks on the bottom of the shoes; then, you may put them away on the rug in the living area next to the front door, esp. when it is snowing or raining.
Clean up after yourself… I.e., bathroom messes, kitchen, living areas, dining table, and sweeping the floor. Then, clean your hands after cleanup in the designated bathroom sink. The host will not clean up after you, but the host will let you know if you are not cleaning up to standards and give a tutorial. I will coach anyone in need of it.
Do not use anything that isn’t yours. You may ask to use personal things. We have the right to deny that request.
This is the one that is mostly disruptive with many guests. Do not slam or shut doors or cabinets with force. Ease them closed at all times. Loud banging noise disrupts Zen. “Turn the handle” and ease the door closed. That’s how silent doors stay silent. Many noise disruptions can be avoided. Esp this one.
Check the toilet and clean it if you made a mess. Cleaners are hanging in front of the kitchen sink or upstairs bathroom near the toilet. If there is a mess and it’s not yours, let the host know to take action. Next is the most significant rule of all. This rule is to keep the peace and keep a mess from ever happening, and that’s all men must sit to pee. It splatters, fumes, evaporates into the air, gets all over the floor, and will get on all things in the bathroom. Vaper does that, and Splatter does that. Sit and Zen. Leave the seat down at all times. Leave the lid up at all times. And wash your hands with soap.
All exterior doors must be locked before leaving and when you enter. The front door is to remain locked at all times.
Avoid using loud appliances during quiet time, or be a ninja.
If you need hot water, use the Reverse Osmosis hot water option at the kitchen sink.
Never leave the stovetop while cooking. Please pay attention to it. Clean up after you are done with the provided cleaner and a single paper towel at a time.
Never use a dish sponge to clean the counters, stove, kitchen sink, or really anything but a dish. Do not let the sponge touch the sink or counter. Place it back in its place.
Be a ninja during quiet hours. If you are a morning riser, pretend to be a ghost.
There are TVs in the rooms for your entertainment. Keep the volume to a comfortable minimum or connect to Bluetooth. Avoid having the TV volume on while people are sleeping. It wakes up the other guests and disturbs the peace. The appropriate TV viewing times are after 9 am- 10 pm or when every person is awake and doesn’t care at that moment. But still, keep the volume to a level of not blasting. Use sleep mode; never leave it on while sleeping.
All bath towels are to remain in the bathroom to hang and dry. Not the bedrooms. Do not ever stain the towels with makeup or grime or clean with them. I have rags for special cleaning. Ask if you need anything.
Seal all foods in a container before putting them in the fridge or cabs. Please do not use the original packaging unless they are sealed packaging. I have zip locks and sealable containers in the pantry for use.
Avoid coughing and sneezing in your hands; use your shoulder or sleeve.
If the host sees something that’s against the rules, the host will immediately mention it or message you about it. Keeping the peace means following and adjusting yourself to the host’s rules so we all have a good stay.
If everyone follows the rules, there will never be conflict, and the host will never have to micro-host. Do your part. Always. It builds good character.
This house is not suitable for pets, children and infants. No pets. No parties or events.
I really appreciate those who have respect and listen.
Keep the peace and harmony by flowing with the guidelines Thank You!
